The Activity Monitor provides electronic patient check-in lists and tracking tools that allow the healthcare organization staff to track wait times and other patient flow metrics through the healthcare encounter.
This feature can either display patient check-in lists or pass on the check-in members to lists in other systems.
The Activity Monitor helps your organization achieve its patient throughput goals by increasing staff efficiencies. Staff can immediately identify which patients have checked in and at what time. Staff are also notified if consent forms have been properly filled out and if the patient has any outstanding balances or co-pays due.
